Survey Results 2021
A series of surveys are being developed by the team to get an initial idea of what former children of Centrepoint Community would like to see happen to bring about restorative change. The results will be published on this page as they are made available.
The survey was done in the second half of 2021.
July - Sept 2021
Q1 - How old were you when you lived (or had significant visiting experiences if a child/youth) at Centrepoint? (39 responses)
Child (0-12)
Teenager (13-17)
Young adult (18-25)
Adult 25+
None of the above - I have no association with Centrepoint
Respondents could tick more than one age category (to allow for the fact that people's years of experience may have spanned more than one age category), so the % number will come to greater than 100%
Q2 - How do you feel about the idea of a restoration process for former children of Centrepoint? (39 responses)
69% (27 people) were very interested or quite interested. 5.1% (2 people) were opposed.
Q3 - How likely are you to participate in a restorative action process, if the right options were available to meet your needs, and you could be supported with any barriers you might face? (39 responses)

Somewhat unlikely (7.7% 3 people)

79.5% (31 people) were very likely or somewhat likely to participate. Another 2.6% (1 person) would support a child-focused process. 5.1% (2 people) were very unlikely to support a process.
Q4 Further involvement (39 responses)
20 people (51.3%) indicated they want to be involved in shaping what the restoration process could look like.
